Week 14: Infused Classroom: Classroomscreen

Classroomscreen

Classroomscreen is a Chrome extension discussed by Holly Clark on her blog that can help students remain on task by providing them with on- task time limits. Since it is a Chrome extension, it is free and can be downloaded on any device with a Google platform. This extension is very flexible and easy to use.

How to use:
This extension can be used to display instructions for lessons visually. There are thirteen widgets available to support classroom activities during lessons. This tool is easy to use and instructions can be adjusted on your device in real time, if needed. Lastly, educators can save all of their screens and make collections so that you can prepare screens ahead of time and use them as needed.

  1. Hi Kayla!
I love this extension. It would be wonderful to implement for my in person students. Since we're not really supposed to be walking around the classroom due to covid restrictions, I am always worrying about whether or not my students are staying on task. This would be a great way to help students remain on task whether in person or virtual. Thanks for sharing! (Week 14 response)
